Khayma Farrago collection:
A 'Farrago' is a confused mixture and refers to the mix of designs used in this exceptionally well balanced patchwork. It is a blanket of different tribal patterns, executed in an overdye coloration.
Khayma stands for the traditional tent used by the nomadic tribes in the dessert. By extension, it also stands for the family, the home or the tribe as a whole. The flooring would consist of rugs for comfort and partly for decoration too.
Heavy flat weave fabric perfectly suits the distressed look of these stunning rugs. Perfect for both contemporary and traditional interiors, each beautiful rug has multiple layers of texture, distressed areas and intricate stitching detail to give a true ‘vintage’ look.
The flat woven surface is approximately 3mm thick consisting of cotton chenille with a distressed finish to create an authentic antique or shabby chic look. All edges are folded and hand sewn for a neat finish Woven on Jacquard Wilton looms.
